Ibliss, A Chapter in the life of a Djinn
Once upon a time, in the ancient world of Djinn, there was a powerful and cunning Djinn named Ibliss. Ibliss had always been fascinated with power and he believed that in order to maintain a balance in the world, both good and evil must exist together. This philosophy of his made him unpopular among many of the Djinn, including the leader Djinn Shaytaan. Shaytaan was known for his belief in control over human beings, and he viewed Ibliss’ philosophy as a threat to his supreme power. He attempted to convince Ibliss to turn away from his dark path and embrace a more righteous path, but Ibliss remained steadfast in his belief in balance. Over time, Ibliss began to grow in power and influence, building a following of his own among other Djinn who shared his worldview. He used his abilities to manipulate humans, tempting them with power and wealth in exchange for their loyalty. Shaytaan grew jealous of Ibliss’ growing power, and their rivalry grew more intense. Ibliss knew that he could never defeat Shaytaan in a direct confrontation, so he bided his time, waiting for the right moment to make his move. In the end, Ibliss’ belief in balance proved to be his undoing. He angered the other Djinn, who saw him as a threat to the natural balance of the world, and they turned on him. Shaytaan took advantage of the situation and defeated Ibliss, banishing him to an eternal existence as a corrupt and malevolent force. In the centuries that followed, Ibliss’ name became synonymous with darkness and evil, while the name of Shaytaan became one of reverence and fear among the Djinn and humans alike. But despite his downfall, Ibliss won a victory of sorts. His legacy lived on, as humans continued to struggle with the concept of good and evil, never truly sure which side to embrace.
